Withdrawal Symptoms

Feels terrible. Aft I woke up this mornin esp. Val says

it's "withdrawal symptoms". Hah. My heart feels

terribly heavy, refuses to let go. & Val keeps goin',

"My heart is heavy too! It's 'bout 2Kg! =)"

Dear Dr. Teo... Haha.

Spankee made me feel a teeny-weeny bit better...

with all her "if he isn't gone, then he wasn't here!"

Thanx Spankee. Really gonna miss Spankee when I go for

All-Stars... she's become my official Ultimate Shoppin' Pal.

But fret not, we have the Penang trip to make it up. Heh.

Gonna take lotsa photos with my new camera! I need a

bigger memory card! So fun.

Hmm... but the thing that cheered me up the most today

was goin' shoppin' with Val & Remy. (not to mention

he was abit late... heh) They were both

fantastically task-focused shoppers.(unlike me &

Spankee who usually gets very distracted... along the way)

As I was sayin... they needed 4 shirts & we were done in like,

30mins?! Haha. & Remy is terribly attracted to

shirts that are essentially *PINK*. (sounds kinda familia dsn't it?)

Oh, Val & I had a REALLY light lunch after trainin'.

At Marches... haven't been there in ages. For once,

our table wasn't filled with food. This is probably the

smallest amt of food the 2 of us had evr consumed together

in the 7yrs we've known each other... Haha!

Incomparable...

The concert was a BLAST! Awesome! Oh WOW!

Heh. He was damn good. Amazin'.

Love all his costumes & props & accessories. Esp the pink piano.

( I chose to see it in pink... Monster says it's white. (= )

Love his songs, music, voice. & his style & attitude.

Love him, definitely.

Will be there at the next concert, you can bet on that.

Check it out dudes.

1St we must have this to get in, to catch a glimsp of

him.

Excitement & anticipation buildin' up real fast in that enclosed

atmosphere.

Baby & I met Kambing & Yugi for a movie tonight.

Saw. Terribly gruesome & sadistic show.

Was eatin' Subway Steak & Cheese while watchin'.

Totally wrong.

Took a pretty photo with my new cam,

completely blinded the world that was sittin behind

us in LidoClassic. Heh.

Santa Came Early

The Boon Tong Kee branch at River Valley is totally ridiculous...

My rice was like served in a pyramid shape lor! Heh.

But the chicken was nice though. & I finally got to eat my cheese prata aft so long.

Last night was crazy, but I eventually fell asleep amidst all the mumblin'

& murmurin's & deep breathin' & whinin'.

Last night also marked the full transformation of me into a

total, complete, full-fledged photo-maniac...

Praise the Lord... erm, & Santa?

Old Grandmother Story

My grandma was born in 1916. Turned 89 (lunar calendar) 2 mths ago,

& still goin' strong. =) She sailed here from China back in 1936.

All on her own. A voyage, almost 14days long. Its was rough.

But with the thought of re-unitin' with her father (tt's my great-grandpa),

she sailed on...

She had orh luah (fried oyster) & gang he ju (dried scallops)... food that

many cldn't afford. Grandma met grandpa, & they got married

eventually. Life was happy.

But the happy days did not last. The "re ben gui zi" were movin south

quick, real quick. Whatever orh luah was replaced with only tapioca

& sweet potato. $5 at that time was HUGE. But grandpa cldn't even

get fish & vege from the market. Grandma & grandpa moved into

the mountains, hopin' that they cld hide from the Jap terror.

But the bombin's & shellin's continued.

And Great-grandpa & xiao great-grandma (he married another wife here

in S'pore) got killed by the Japs... In the hands of the

"yellow-est" Asians. Blood.

Then, grandma was only left with grandpa... & 2 little bros

(xiao great-grandma had 2 little baby boys, which

explains my 2 grand uncles now).

Up to this day, the last time grandma saw her mom & her 2 younger sis

in China, was back in 1936, the day she boarded the ship to Nanyang.

The ship of no return.

Miles apart for almost 70 yrs. How does Ah Ma bear to?

I have no goddamn idea.

Grandpa passed away in 1989, I was young, but I remember.

For 50yrs, they walked hand in hand.

Did grandma cry? That, I honestly don't remember...

She's now a happy old lady: 4 Sons, 4 daughter-in-laws,

15 grandchildren (8 grandsons, 7 granddaughters- INCLUDIN' ME!

I'M THE YOUNGEST GRANDCHILD!),

9 great-grandchildren (6 great-grandsons, 2 great-granddaughters, &

1 on-the-way)... I Love My Ah Ma. =)

Love Is All Around

This is the 1st time in 3wks im stayin in here all on my own. Heh. Roomie

went home. How nice. But fret not, cos' Im goin' home soon too!

Countin' down... say 9hrs? Heh. Rush home 1st thing in the mornin tmr!

Gotta bring home lotsa stuff, clothes mostly... & accessories. Now

I know why Gwenie was complainin' just now when she was packin... =/

Oh well, today IS the day. WAS... actually. Considerin' that it's over.

It Just Doesn't Work That Way...

A BIG THANKEW to Tzetze & Gwenie fer helpin' me look 4 a new top 4

my cousin's weddin. Although they tried their very best, all

kinds of colors, cuts, designs, materials, price range, styles... I

still rejected them all in the end. Haha. So sowwie girls. I jus didn't like

any of them, not tryin to make things difficult fer u 2. The weddin' dinner is

this Sunday night, & last minute shoppin' just doesn't work!!! ARGH.

AND, it is NOT about being INDECISIVE... Heh.

Err, & my prob is still not solved... this Sunday HOW?! WEAR WHAT?!

Took a damn spastic photo just now. Total goon. Haha. Damn furnie LOR...

Operation Small G

"Operation Small G" starts today. Im terribly traumatised by the

thought of what the rest of the week holds fer me. Or rather, what the week

doesn't hold fer me... Maybe its my destiny?

Maybe its what's meant to be. Maybe I shldn't resist. Maybe I shall resign to fate,

like how she puts it all the time.

Hah.

Or maybe I shld not think about it & try to ferget. But whenever

i open my fridge... I get reminded of it all. Sigh~

The clock counts down, to the start of THE Operation. My last few moments.

My Flower Died!

Sigh~ I have to come back & see that my dearest

little pink flower is so dead...

Baby booked out today. Went to the PA gate to wait fer him as usual.

He had to cut his hair again. He didnt bowl too well at the mini masters.

He was so tired he fell asleep in the car on the way back.

His cough is so bad he cant evn swallow saliva.

Poor baby.

"The Pizza Is A Big Monster Lor!" -gwen

Today was amazin'ly surprisin'. Haha. Thanx to Gwen's wishlist,

we miraculously got pizzas for dinner & Mochi black

sesame f0r dessert. Heh. (Details on Gwen's blog.) She shld jus

wish fer $50 bills to drop frm the sky tmr... & now, aft all

our indulgence, the only thing i hear from the other corner of

my room is, "oh man, i feel so fat lor!", "i seriously needa lose wt.",

"the pizza is a monster lor, im so thirsty!", "i think my thighs look bigger...",

"i think i go runnin tmr."!

WAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Apart frm all the food that came knockin' on the door today,

i mus specially write bout this PinkLittleFLower that TzeTze bought!!!

That girl is so so so so sweeeeeeet... *MuakZ*

All the way to our rm jus to pass us flowers & food! And all the way

back to the east on her own... sigh~ How sweet is that?!

Friday Is A Book-Out Day!

Baby & I finally got to watch SharkTale last night... it was so cute!

i luv "Lenny the Shark"! His voice was super super duper cute...! Luv the part

where he was swayin' swayin' on the seat. Haha.

& we had our usual Subway sandwich(Steak&Cheese) with

extraextra lettuce & onions. Of cos thats mine, cos baby's 1 will only have the bread

& the meat. Period. How can he be such a carnivor??? =/

Our Friday night Subway dinner is becomin' such a routine... hee. So happy,

luv the cookies that come with it. But last night's oatmeal & raisin

was super "lao hong",

*YucKz*!

Still remember how i was complainin' I'm growin' all moldee, this aftnn

the sun was *FwaH*! I finally understood why my mom is always so happy & excited

when it's super sunny & hot. Cos' Gwen & I took out ALL that was

washable & jus dumped them into the washin' machine. We washed hell lot of clothes

today... hell lot.

See!

& the best part was they all dried super fast lor... I suggested to Gwen

that we cld wash out bedsheets & our blankets even! But obviously,

she told me not to be mad... Hah.

& stop askin' her to wash everythin'. Heh.

Oh, know the sun was so so so bright &

big(not tt it was bigger in terms of size today... but, ya...)

that it looked like this when we opened the room door... reminded me of

the show "The 9th Gate"... oh man, there was Johnny Depp. X)
